Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
An official for the firm stated: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was reached following an investigation into claims about questionable actions directed at female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
A Highly Successful Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, having sold more than 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins back in 2008.
A number of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
